SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

Minnie is the top winning Dandie bitch in the history of the breed.  She was Don Watkins’ first show dog and he accomplished as a novice what no one else has ever done, at least to our knowledge.  She was the #1 Dandie all systems in 2008 and 2009, with more than 75 group wins and placements and six All-Breed Bests in Show.  Previously three all breed bests was the record won by Dandie bitches, but Minnie doubled the record with her six.

Her final weekend was the 2009 National Specialty weekend where she was Best of Breed all four days including the National Specialty, thank you judges Mr. David Kirkland, Dr. Gerry Mager, Mrs. Sandra Goose Allen and Dr. Klaus Anselm. 

She went onto a Group 2nd under Mr. David Kirkland, a Group 1st under Dr. Mager and onto Best in Show #5 under Mrs., Group 1st under Mrs. Rhonda Davis, Group 1st under Mrs. Marjorie Underwood and Best in Show #6 under Mrs. Ruth Zimmerman.  Many of the nation’s top dogs were present so these were especially meaningful wins.
